a couple people asked me to share some books i’ve enjoyed. so here are some i’ve loved with brief explanations as to why:
- from this moment on by shania twain. i picked this book up from the library on a whim. i remembered the short-lived buzz of her divorce/remarriage/book tour and was curious. i liked her writing style — kinda casual, all over the place but really honest and personal. she has a really amazing story to tell especially about her early life. i’m still in awe.
- delirium by lauren oliver. i’ve read a ton of YA dystopian novels in the past few months. most weren’t that great but this one is quick and fun. the cliffhanger has been messing with me and i’m so so thankful that the sequel comes out in twelve days.
- amy and roger’s epic detour by morgan matson. this was a goodreads recommendation and my expectations were low solely because of the word “epic” in the title. it’s a really cute, heartwarming page turner and i’ve been craving a road trip ever since.
- bossypants by tina fey. i laughed out loud reading this book.
thanks so much to everyone who left me replies/messages with recommendations — keep ‘em coming!
